Not your basic, everyday 66 yr. old guy. I'm healthy, active, easy going, civilized, fun to be around, fairly housebroken, reasonably sane, and all my shots are up to date!! Younger than my years in body, mind, and spirit. All grown up, but never grew old along the way. I'm pretty much "take it as it comes" casual and relaxed by nature, but can focus & get as serious as I have to with the best of em if I must...and I clean up just fine if need be. Lots of diverse interests..Stuff like: outdoors when it's warm with the sun in my face and wind in my hair; in, on, under, or around the ocean; listening to a really good R&B band (rip SRV); going someplace I haven't yet been; trying something I haven't yet done; a good, healthy adrenaline buzz every so often.

No time for chaotic drama, needless complications, or hopeless situations. Nothing much in common with "do as I say, not as I do" hypocrites, closed/negative/narrow minds, bleeding hearts or biblethumpers. I believe strongly in live & let live and taking care of yourself & your own.

As like most people my age i am independent but not overly so. Am very affectionate & attentive. Love being outdoors or indoors, depending on the weather & or situation. Retired [British] Navy Vet. US Citizen, own own company, love work, been married before and divorced for a while so wanting to enjoy life again outside of work. ESTJ (Myers Briggs), not a couch potato, but also not one to run a marathon or climb a mountain either. Stable, active, like sports (softball, hiking, biking, kayaking), travel (U.S. and abroad), music of most kinds (singer/songwriter, just finished second album of original songs), reading, movies, some tv, good healthful food. Retired financial advisor (among other things). Lean left politically, but willing to consider good ideas from all sides. A one-woman man.
