Hi there! Thanks for deciding to take a moment to get to know me. I'm a mom of three grown sons who is now ready to start the next season of life with a new partner in love and laughter. I love music, travel, books, movies (especially a comedy but a good drama is ok too). I'm spontaneous and enjoy spur of the moment day trips to the beach - regardless of the weather. If it is cold and rainy - grab a jacket and a latte then LET'S GO!

My pictures indicate some of the many things I enjoy doing. I love Mexico which I go at least twice a year. Las Vegas is just one of the many fun places to go as well. I go on rides with three other couples on our Harleys. Currently I play league darts four nights a week. Spending a month in Alaska two years ago I want to go back, but not alone.
I love music, dinning out listening to live music dancing, which I am not the most graceful.

I miss having someone to hug, touch put my arms around at night and love.
I don't like living alone. I would like to share my life with someone.

My faith is very important; currently Catholic though I raised my children Lutheran. I love to go out dancing, try to go once a week. Movies, relaxing with TV and my iPad. ... Keeping up with the world events. Traveling. I am a Libra and believe in fairness and balance. I adhere to Christian values. I attend a Christian study group with friends. I have a passion to always keep learning, whether it is scholastically or just through life's lessons. I am an avid gardener, a dog lover and a movie fan (especially film noir).I love suspense novels, making new friends, interesting conversation, gentle teasing, being outside enjoying nature and sitting cuddled up on the couch with that special someone, enjoying a movie, a warm fire or quiet conversation. I am kind, honest and willing to learn so that my partner and I grow together.
I love my kids and they always come first (sorry). My mother lives in her own apartment in my house so that she can be independent but I can keep her close.
I don't hit the gym 5 days a week, or even once a week but I do a lot of yard and home improvement, and also try to walk 2 to 3 miles 3 times a week to stay in shape. I am not model thin or obese but I am always looking to lose 10 or so pounds (darn middle age!).
I am a liberal both in people and politics. If you are conservative (both people and politics), while I respect your beliefs, I can't see us matching up.

I'm a single mom, with one terrific child. We've moved past HS graduation with the next step being college in the fall.

I believe I've accomplished what I had to to pass that step! Now it is time for me to find me the ONE.

My friends say I'm funny. That I have a warped, wacky, sometimes dry sense of humor. I've been known to be fiesty at times, but please don't hold that against me. I can, and do laugh at myself.

I try to be the best person I can be, and am continually looking for ways to become better. Honesty, respect and consideration of others are values that I hold in high regard. Values I live by.

I love the outdoors... camping, fishing and exploring (although I haven't done much in the past few years). Ok, everyone in unison say.... Awwwwww!!! ;-)

I do prefer dinner and a movie to going out on the town, but seeing a show or listening to live music now and again is always fun.

I have recently moved to the Portland area from my home on Cape Cod. I have my two Golden Retrievers with me. I am lucky to be working for a great company and am living on the Columbia River. (my first boat). I love the outdoors, am a happy person (with a good sense of humor) and can't wait for the non-raining season. I am a great (ok good) cook, very handy, I was once a wood shop teacher, and still like paper books. I have two grown sons, both on the east coast and i have 1 new granddaughter. (Alice)

Looking to Travel about

I like being out doors, camping is the best! I enjoy walking along the beach and even some good old yard work. I have been known to deer hunt, go salmon, steelehead, shad and trout fishing and have done a little shooting. I am some what shy and am a much better listener than talker. I do lend myself to having a good time. Lifes too short not to get out and enjoy it.

The flowers are planted, the bark dust has been spread, the water fountains have been cleaned & are bubbling and the decks have a fresh coat of paint! The house is clean and the clothes are washed (and folded, haha). Spring is knocking at the door! And summer is soon to follow. Many festivals and outdoor activities are coming up!!! Hello...I am secure & very happy with myself, but ..life is meant for 2. I am self-sufficient, independent, honest, caring, loving single mom of 3, family and friends are very important to me. I love to laugh, hang out with friends, go to the beach, which BTW is my favorite place to be.. I love to dance, sing, although Im not very good, it still doesnt stop me. I enjoy going to a nice dinner, dressing up or staying home and hanging out wih my kids, in my PJs eating Pizza, while drinking a beer, watching a good movie..
