By nature, I'm still a caregiver, but with my daughters grown, I now tend more to the animals. I have a deep, abiding love and respect for them. I share my home with four very loving cats, to whom I've made lifelong commitments.
I am kind, compassionate, insightful, very intelligent, creative, and I try to follow the road less traveled. I am fair in life and love, and an excellent communicator. I love to read, learn, explore and play. I follow and trade the stock market. (see picture of me with Oliver, my gray cat.) I am a loving and affectionate woman with the right man. I will not be rushed. Gentlemen only, please. I've got a strong will and mind, so if you need to govern things, nooope, it would never work. Mutual cooperation and respect are much more my style.

Single for several years. Like to dance, go dinner with friends, enjoy sharing a bottle of wine, like to walk, and very fond of domestic animals. Also, I enjoy the beach and many water activities. I'm outgoing, and have strong work ethic as I have been with the same corporation for over 25 years.

Most of my travel has been solo. Recently, someone asked me what I did. I said "Whatever I want" It would have been nice to say I do whatever WE decide to do. They meant work; to which, I could have said I have been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate and a Queen: doing it solo is not life.

I currently live in Allentown, where I've been for a little over 7 years now since moving here from Ohio. I moved here for a new job, and live by myself, so I guess I'm just looking for someone to do things with...go places with. In fact, I think we're all on here looking for pretty much the same thing. You know, someone that we just click with, get along with, can laugh with, spend time with. I think we'd all like to find that person that you just can't wait to see at the end of the day. That person that you absolutely love to go out to dinner with, because you know that more often than not, you end up not even making it out the door.

Anyway, I'd say I'm a pretty normal person. Easy to get along with, I have a decent job, go to work [5] days a week, come home, eat, maybe watch some TV, play on the computer, etc. I'd like to get out more and do more stuff, but I think the idea is to have someone to do those things with. Right?

In my free time I enjoy doing just about anything outside from working around my home, bike riding, swimming or just taking road trips. I am chivalrous and strong. I stand up for what I believe in and often speak my mind. I am always there to help my friends and family. My family lives nearby and we are close. I have a handful of friends that I have known for over 30 years! (WOW - that's a long time!) I love to laugh and make others laugh, too. I believe in Christ and have been on my own spiritual journey of discovery for a number of years. I own a Harley that I can hardly find the time to ride. I have a pilot license and haven't been in the air for more years than I care to remember! I would love to spend more time on both! I have a 2 year old Swissie and an 11 year old daughter - both consume a lot of my time when not working. I am an involved parent and look for ways to stay connected to my daughter and her activities (in school and out) without being a thorn in her side.
