The outdoors and nature are an important part of my life. I also love learning and trying creative things, from art to silversmithing to writing. When I have time, I also enjoy an occasional play, symphony, sports event, but am very content at home as well. I have changed careers over the past ten years and truly enjoy the work that I do but also try to balance that with taking care of myself and those I care about. I am more recently enjoying going to a local gym and have been hiking 1-2x a month with some local hiking groups, which has been a blast! It's like being a kid playing in the woods with friends and has become my therapy.

Recently retired and returned to Pgh. after 30 year absence. I have 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren, all living in Wis. A Coast Guard veteran, serving on both coast, Alaska , great lakes and Chesapeake Bay. Also retired from a career in Retail Mgt. I'm very easy to get along with and won't allow stress to get the better of me. Enjoy both socializing and quiet times. With my free time I help out with "Make-a-Wish" and Toys for Tots. Those with children and grandchildren would know why. Law-abiding with no alcohal or drug additions. I prefer women in the 50's and 60's age range in that we share more common lifes experiences. One who can cook an Itilian dish would be a keeper.

Nose is frequently in a book [have been known to read cereal boxes when all else is lacking]; Ski Patrol; Rugby, though do not play to much [though old boys of course] these days; Various and sundry volunteer groups; Fond of bordeaux and pate. and being walked by the doggie [small but powerful [ the dog]].

Wash both self and clothes. Iron the latter, although with increasing age, might do well to iron the former.

Comfortable in jeans/shorts. tuxedo, kitchen and kilt..
