First, as a fighter pilot and later as an Airline Captain I found to deliver people safely and to be a Air Force Top Gun instructor I had to, at times, concentrate, almost to the point of exhaustion. I have learned to back off with age, no more Fighters and am retired from the airlines but still have the fighter pilot mentality....If you are are with me you will always be safe, promise..What I did for a living is just that..some of it is who I am, some not..I love flying, 14yrs a fighter pilot, All over the U. S., Vegas, England most of free Europe and Philippines including a lot of the far East. I really have no love for flying commercial airliners .I did it for 27 yrs and it was a job to provide for my family, but took me away a lot!.I now love small aerobatic planes [I've owned 4]where you are like a bird..you ARE the airplane...you see the world from 2000 ft...rivers, valleys, mountains, desert...I went 5 yrs without that and thought I'd never fly again..but now I am, Thank you GOD!!!! I love the water.Growing up in the Smokey mts of TN, gave me enough mountains..I've captained sail boats, all kinds, for 20 yrs in the Caribbean... due to disability I have to settle for a power boat here on Lake Norman NC....I love music.
