I'm self-employed and pretty ambitious, so right now I work a lot. I also like to stay in shape - most days I either go to the gym or play tennis, and I get out cycling when I can. I like doing all the regular going-out stuff, but I usually choose something active. I participate in my church and attend regularly. I'm not rich but I enjoy my lifestyle. I'd love to meet a special someone to love and share my life with. I'm happiest when I'm in a growing sharing relationship even though I know it takes work to make it work. With the right person I would perhaps consider having kids together, but this is not something that is important for me – I could be very happy in a great relationship without new kids.

I might not be the catch of the day but you might not want to throw me back either?Everybody stands around and try and figure out if the glass is half full or empty? I say lets fill it up and see what happens? I'm about as light hearted as they come.Not to be confused with not taking things seriosly. A practical joker, jokester, quick witted, funny, silly, I think you get the picture.Big time romantic.Take working out in spurts and I splutter sometimes when I do:)Try and get in 3 days a week. I've been retired for a few years , don't pay to good but the hours are great.Have a small landscape and construction business. I'm turning my attention to reopening my pottery business. Took something I loved years ago and made a job out of it.Maybe now I can do it and love it again. I know that at this point in life we all have probably been dissapointed in someone or maybe in ourselves because a relationship didn't work out.Time to get over it and move on. Seen my share of hard times and heart breaks. The worst was watching my Dad loose his battle with dimentia . Toured Germany, Italy, Croatia , Slovenia, Chech Republic. WOuld love to go back to Italy spend a few weeks and take it all in.. The most gracious people in the world.

I am an unpretentious, active man with many interests. I'm happy with simple pleasures - good food, a good book, good company. I enjoy quiet times (Sunday mornings in bed with the newspaper) and not so quiet times (Sunday mornings in bed without the newspaper).

I was transplanted to this area from Connecticut two years ago so there are still many places I've yet to see and many things yet to do. (Perhaps you'd be willing to be my guide). I have been fortunate to have travelled to much of this country as well as Europe and South America and look forward to doing more of the same.

My children are grown, educated (no loans for Dad) and live out of state.

Hello. I've been through some stressful times the past few years and haven't felt I was ready to be with anyone for quite a while. But life goes on and I've just recently moved here from Colorado and it's a new year so maybe it's time.
I am honest, trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient (when necessary), cheerful(usually), thrifty, brave, clean, and skeptically irreverent.
I am fairly active; love scuba, golf, mountainbiking, fencing, cross-country skiing, ...I can also be a real slug sometimes; love to get up slowly in the morning and lie out on a deck or anywhere in the sun reading or be inside with a roaring fire going, watching a good movie while outside is a raging blizzard which I might go out into for a walk just because!! Enjoy most music especially Jazz, Classical (Mozart, Vivaldi, etc.), The Dead...cannot tolerate hip-hop, death metal, or country/western...I am fairly well-read and broadly knowledgeable; enjoy museums, art galleries, fine restaurants, champagne, and any occasion to wear a tux. Love a woman in a fur coat especially one who doesn't mind that I wear mine.
