My mother was from Berlin, Germany so I spent a lot of time in Europe. I went behind the wall a lot and was there when it came down so I do understand what it means to be free.

I am a pretty down to earth kind of guy. I just moved here. I believe in keeping it real. I am hoping that I will be able to meet a new best friend here. I usually don't go for these types of sites so I hope this will be a positive experience. I have 2 grown sons that live on their own. I have a grandson (yea). I am a patient man (which comes in handy as I am a Social Worker). I love to be outside but being indoors making dinner, watching a movie, talking & sitting in front of a fireplace works just as well. I care about what I do for a living (aka: that "Social Worker" thing). I am in fairly decent shape. I use to be quite active in sports (which you will see when you see me). I don't get obsessive about working out (like some of my Zumba Friends Back North do). I do still feel its important to take care of ones self so that they will have a long life (or in my case more time to play with my grandson---lol). Lets see. I am told that I clean up good which is a good thing as I didn't even know what that meant until about 5 yrs ago. I am an honest person & I don't get caught up into game playing. I have a spiritual side and this is important to me. I like to laugh/have a qurkey sense of humor. I write/compose music.

I am very laid back and love the beach life. Tee shirts, shorts and flip flops are my best friends. Enjoy dressing up as well. Enjoy movies, dinner out or in burgers and fries, grilling steaks, a little wine or a beer once in awhile, going to the beach, catching some rays with a good book and cold beverage, holding hands and stealing kisses. Not impressed with riches.....more impressed with kindness, respect, honesty and sense of humor!

i lived in mass. ill.( greenville s.c. in the 80, s ) that how i found myrtle beach, and of course pa.all for a great com. i worked for 28yrs. worked for another com.for 14yrs, retired in 2009, moved to myrtle beach in 2010 it, s changed alot since the 80s, like it better.ok, enough of history for now, lol. love the ocean, do alot of fish, n, going shop, n at different shops were you find the odd things, not like every mall store has..going to movies, out to eat and a drink.i, m a pretty spontaneous person.never know when we may jump in the car and take off, not knowing where were going or when we, ll get back? love laugh, n, even at myself, life to short to worry about the small stiff?everything is much better with a pretty lady along side of you. i, m very passionate, honest , trustworthy, and one person man, as i would hope you would be?well better save something for later if someone is interested?thanks ...don...ps. also like to hang around home relax, cuddle, watch tv or movies, sports(football) and music anything (but hip-hop and rap)??????also must be an animal lover<<<, i have NO time for people( if thats what u call them) that treat animals with cruelty ??

I enjoy nature walks, working in my yard, and enjoying all of the activities available in my local area. I retired from teaching high school math and physics---retirement was short lived. I began teaching "at risk" students at an alternative school 2 years ago. Quite a change from honors students, but very fulfilling. My children make me smile every single day, the ones I raised and the ones I teach.
