Im an old fashion women who needs to be pampered. I have taken care of everyone else all my life and want someone who will take care of me, trust me and still give me the independence I require. I love deeply and unconditionally if the man Im with feels the same about me.

I'm very active-- exercise almost every day-- but also like to sit quietly and read. When I'm not at the movies or working, I love cooking for friends and having dinner parties. I'm a" newshound", even when things never seem to change, but don't like to argue about politics. Although I'm often on the move, I also like reading the newspaper or a few magazines, watching almost all sports, and listening to music. Biking or working out or walking with a friend are my favorite ways of getting exercise. I love to travel, though lately I do so much of it for work, I'm loving being home, too. This summer has been one of the best ever with time on a bike trip and lots of time with family. Life is really good-- only missing someone to share it with.

I work full time with no plans to retire. I'm well educated and well traveled ; done everything from walking a bed of buring coals to sitting in awe in a restaurant in Athens, watching the sun set behind the Parthenon. I love to read, to attend live performances, from music, dancing or theatre, take walks in the woods, explore little out of the way places, go to flea markets, ride my bicycle or on a motorcycle, or just sit on a beautiful, warm beach in the sun sipping from a fresh coconut.

My friends would describe me as an independent thinker with eclectic tastes. I don't follow the crowd and don't find those that do very interesting. My spiritual and political beliefs are not mainstream. I have a good sense of humor and like to find humor in just about everything.

And though I enjoy going out and doing things, I can easily keep myself fairly well occupied even if I am staying at home.
