There was a time when answering these type of question came very easy and naturally, now I'm at a loss for words. I suppose that the one thing that I can recognize about myself is that I am a “still waters run deep” type of person. I am a very private person, but there are times when I wish I had someone to share my inner thoughts with. I am secure with who I am and what I am. There is not too much that can rile me. I have tried very much to live up to the credo of not sweating the small stuff and recognizing that in the final analysis, it's all small stuff. But I cannot tolerate insensitive, boorish and uncaring people. I am a spiritual person and continue to try to build a relationship Jesus Christ, whatever that may imply. I start my day with prayer and end it the same way, but as a lot of people do, I struggle with my faith. Much like mother Theresa did. And, as the song says, I don't know if there is a heaven, but I pray there ain't no hell.

My favorite things are my kids and live music (must like concerts), fine dining, good friends, travel, dive bars with a level pool table, throwing parties with an interesting cast of characters, trying out a new recipe, counting stars from my front porch while sipping on a good red from a local winery, watching football while making a batch of chili, learning something new, going bare foot with sand between my toes, laughing until I cry, hiking to a beautiful vista to snap the perfect picture, curling up on a rainy day to watch a sappy movie, going to the gym to pump iron, long soaks in a hot tub surrounded by candlelight and really good kissing.
