Since we are suppose to talk about ourselves, here goes........I am a fun, happy-go-lucky, patient, optimistic, affectionate, friendly, honest and thoughtful person who loves to laugh. I can pretty much find humor in anything. I enjoy lifes little blessings and offerings and I am grateful to be here to enjoy it all. I especially enjoy my family, friends, animals, babies, old people, traveling, movies, music, reading, exercising, being outside, gardening, eating out and eating in, snuggling, listening and learning. I ask alot of questions, but that's because I'm inquisitive and want to know. I'm not afraid to admit when I don't know how to do something or when I'm wrong. I don't act my age and hope I never do.

I will say I don't like this part. I like to be by the water. I live in the city but prefer the country, would like to live down a dirt road with some animals and a horse. I try to be a good person. I am very easy to get along with, very laid back, I am just a regular lady who raised 3 daughters to be good citizens. I am tall, about 5 10, I don't mind a one two inches shorter if you don't. I drink socially, maybe at dinner sometimes or at holiday gatherings. I quit smoking about a year ago cold turkey. I still have a few cravings! Yuk! I like to swim for exercise. Hmmm what else do you want to know

Life is grand! I have great faith in God but I'm just a normal gal with as my friends would say, she's got the gift of gab.

I love riding a tandem bicycle -- the sensual experience of being outside and close to my partner's physicality is truly exhilarating. I also love working on projects for others -- Habitat for Humanity, walks or bicycle rides for hunger relief or to help cure diseases. A small garden in the front of my home and one in the back could look better -- and will soon! I also have a flock of ardent cardinals that are so familiar to me I feel like St. Francis :-)

Enjoy playing sports such as soccer, tennis and softball. Enjoy taking walks on the beach, hiking, riding bikes or motorcycle's and spending time at a lake or the ocean. Like to spend time with family/friends as well as simply watching a movie at home with that someone special.

Yeah, self-promotion is really against my nature, but I asked my ex and she said "honest, funny, dependable", I think. By funny, I think she meant clever. I hope she meant clever. But I know she didn't say smart. Now what am I doing telling you that? Uh, self-deprecation can be endearing? Anyway, I think I'm a pretty good guy. I try to be helpful. I've been called an accommodator.
Eventually I'd like to find someone to see movies with, catch music with, eat at a nice place occasionally. Ideally I'd meet someone of a like mind, preferably an agnostic democrat former hippie (50-60, slender to average), but, who knows, opposites sometimes get along, and the fairy tale would ensue. Hobbies, you say? I really enjoy golf and scenic/landscape photography. I often take vacations for the purpose of photographing national parks or scenic cities. I read mysteries and do crosswords and jumbles. Darn, missy, where's my wheelchair? No, I think I'm pretty fit. I'm 5'9 and 150 and bike a little, shoot hoops a little and walk the golf course (no cart). I finally quit playing softball a couple of years ago and am looking for a replacement way of getting exercise.

I find now days I have a little more time on my hands so I spend a greater amount of time riding & exploring on my Harley. Always looking for a new view or great scenery, but I get lonely & would love to share some of these adventures with someone special.

I like sports, movies, dancing, writing, and I'm an old actor from back in the day. I enjoy creative pursuits, reading and discussions with depth to them.

I'm cute, fun and funny! I am height/weight proportionate, maybe even a little top-heavy. :-) Frankly I'd like to lose about 7 pounds, but I don't think any woman is ever satisfied with her weight. i love reading and quiet time, but I also love concerts and live music. I love all kinds of movies, even guy movies, both at home and at the theatre. I love all kinds of music except rap and hip hop. Time with family and friends is important to me. But more than anything I love to travel, and have been all over Mexico and Central America. It is my dream to retire south of the border one of these days..If you are a strict homebody, we might not click. Conversation, people-watching, strolling down S. Congress and visiting odd places and laughing and laughing--this is what I love to do!
