I retired from teaching school in May but have stayed pretty active. Im currently forming a not for profit childrens theatre group. I stay busy with friends and grandkids. Im an outgoing people person but can be introspective. Im pretty compassionate and intolerant people can sometimes get on my nerves.

I was born in Germany, and still consider myself very European, even though I've lived in the states since I was young. I work in the music industry, and love what I do. I have two grown children, one in Los Angeles and one who lives in the house next door to mine. I'm interested in ancient history, mythology, and archaeology. I'm spiritual rather than religious, liberal rather than conservative and a bit of a hopeless romantic.

I have fairly eclectic tastes and love to explore new places. I’m not a very ‘formal’ person and prefer an out of the way grungy (in a good way) blues bar or down home Cajun place.

Blues and Jazz music are favorites, but every so often nothing but Rock hit’s the spot. Cooking for friends, a good bottle of wine, some decent beer, talking into the night works for me. Watching the sunset or a walk in the moonlight makes me happy.

I can get lost for hours in a bookstore, dragging me out of a music store might be a challenge. I'm not into sports....well unless it's World Cup time.
