I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as quickly as I could! I grew up in Wisconsin and over the years taught Math/Computers in Maryland, New York, Wisconsin, Indiana and Texas. I'm very easy-going, inherited good health genes and am financially secure. I enjoy snow skiing and golf, handyman stuff and gardening. Like the Arts and classical music. I don't particularly like Opera but I subscribe just to force myself. It may be working -- I was crying during the third act of Turandot last week!

Mostly retired. I lived in Asia (Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore) and worked all over Asia. Also lived in Copenhagen and Amsterdam and worked across Europe. I have the most handsome dog in Austin and one of the friendliest. I write a weekly newspaper column - opinion, local color, humor. Like jazz, bluegrass and swing. Regarding honor, when I make a promise, you can take it to the bank. I am also fairly honest (80 to 93 percent). I'm pretty fit and work out at the gym every-other day.

I like doing things together with people of similar interest. I love the outdoors but I must be honest, my passion is fishing and boating. Anything on the water. Continuing with the honesty, I love to go fishing but usually with guy friends. I could and would include my significant otlher on occasion if she would enjoy such a thing. I am a fairly good dancer with country/western (not line dancing), waltzing and even the polka. I admit that it is easier for me after a little alcohol.
