I like simple pleasures; the sweet, simple things in life which are the real ones. While I'm very relaxed, I've got that same girlish exuberance for life as always. It seems that anyone who grew up near the ocean often craves a chance to visit a body of water and I am one of those people. It is odd that I now live several hours from any ocean but I go visit when I can. I like to read, watch movies and I enjoy attending shows at any theatre around town. I love to travel and in July I had a chance to visit South America. It was a fabulous trip. I wish I was fluent in Spanish but still I managed to make myself understood.
I am not an outdoorsy type. I will put on my sneekers to walk my dog and that is my main form of exercise. I am pretty organized and tend to plan get togethers, however I like it when someone elso steps up to the plate too. I can carry a conversation but I can also be quiet. I will even let you watch the game in peace and will find something else to do. I will go to a hockey game as that is part of the life of a woman from the Great White North.

I'm pretty down to earth. Enjoying a great meal with good wine that may or may not include a few friends and family is high on my list. What keeps me grounded is staying in touch with my family, especially my children. I love a good movie, reading a good book, hiking, walking, good TV and laughing (not necessarily in that order). It's important for me to be productive, and take care of myself both physically and financially. I have the perfect small lap dog that I brought with me when I moved from Colorado to Austin 2 years ago. I love Austin's energy, food and shopping. I do not enjoy camping and I do not swim, but I have been able to survive and have a wonderful life all this time without participating in those activities.

I have two passions in my life. They are my children and my job. My children are attending college and do not always have time for mom (smile). My job is great! It allows me to travel sometimes, and work on new applications. I am now ready for a third passion in my life, and that would be "A Very Special Man".
