Exercising and playing chess are the two things I enjoy! I like to travel whenever I can take time off. I am proud to take care of my family and friends. I am a physician and hence I have to commit a signicant amount of time to my profession. But whenever I am free, I am free. Then I really like to have fun and enjoy myself.

I have lived a pretty normal life. Was married 38 years , have two grown children and four grandchildren. I have been widowed nearly 10 years now and am tired of being alone all of the time. I walk regularly on trails around Dallas and in parks. Go to movies and attend church on Sundays.

I occupy my time working 25 to 30 hours a week for a General Contractor as a marketing person.

First of all my picture, except for my hair which is a lot lighter, is accurate and my age is right on. I am athletically minded and as a result work out very hard 3 to 5 times a week. I truly enjoy anything that involves singing acting or the dance. I'm straight as a stick but not afraid to say that my season tickets are to the Texas Ballet at Windspear, The Majestic Theater, The Turtle Creek Chorale, and I am just as at home at Petes Dueling Pianos as I am at the Myerson. I learned a long time ago to not take myself to seriously and as result I like to laugh a lot. I'm good looking enough to have played the lead in a number of the musicals that I've done. [That's according to my kids so you know it's true.] I've been fortunate enough to have had standing ovations when I've been supported by a marvelous cast. I've also been proud to be in the chorus when other people have been so honored. What I'm looking for is someone who can laugh with me when I mess up, and to realize that if I laugh it's that I enjoy being together and nothing else. Bottom line I just want someone to have some fun with. I enjoy doing things on the spur of the moment as well as going to a formal gala that has taken some planning.

First of all, I'm simple, not fancy. I don't look, talk, or dress fancy. The closest I've gotten to dressing up is a pair of jeans and a shirt or blouse. I'm not an athlete nor do I pretend to be one. I'm honest, trustworthly, loyal, tenderhearted, loving, and have a sense of humor. I have a full figure, and can't run or jog anymore but do walk when I can. I like most foods except chinese, liver, and shrimp. I love to eat out when I can, but can cook as well. I don't like movies much anymore but will watch a regular show instead. I'm not a sports fan at all, and won't go to or watch a game with you. So if you want someone to watch games with you, get a buddy. I love to go to flea markets, museums, theme parks, and zoo's. I like to travel and take road trips to visit places of interest. I have a small dog that lives with me so of course I like pets. A pet person is a BIG plus with me. I tell the truth and keep my word when given. I know I'm not perfect and don't pretend to be, everybody has flaws but if you love that person, you overlook it or deal with it. Oh, I DO NOT date outside my race..no offense to anyone...sorry guys..way I was raised. So take me as I am or not.

I'm a person who loves to travel, is educated and loves what I do for my business. I help people feel empowered. I volunteer with the SPCA and work with abused chihuahuas specifically in their rescue( when I need a puppy fix). I have a rescue as well.If you don't care for dogs, please pass me by.
I love sunsets on the ocean, the smell of pines in the mountains and a great wine anywhere...indoors or out. I have a grown and successful daughter who I raised by myself and would hope you know what that entails if you have kids.
