I'm a local boy born and raised here in Texas. I'm college educated and I have a great job that I enjoy working at everyday.

Really like 'day/weekend trips' to destinations unknown and enjoy all that Texas has to offer. But, if given the choice, I would be on the Coast anyday. I like to park my truck on the beach in Port A and just listen to the waves while sipping a cold beverage. Blood Pressure goes WAY down during this time.

I think of others BEFORE I think of myself, and how my decision(s) may affect others that are around me.

I try to walk 3 miles EVERY day (and 5-7 miles on Sunday).

Also play "at" golf.... not to be so competitive anymore, but more as an excuse to get my butt out there and enjoy the sunshine, and perhaps play with someone that enjoys the outdoors as much as I.

Love all animals. Animals are tremendously forgiving and we all can learn something from them.

Like to 'people watch'......wondering "what is it that they do in their normal lives everyday" ?

I am a well educated man who likes to have fun. I love movies, sweaming and traveling.

My friends say I am smart, creative, and giving. I enjoy traveling, camping, animals of all kinds, cooking, quilting, most crafts, and music. I love warm embraces, genuine kisses and holding hands. I am a hopeless romantic. I have found that I enjoy the little things in life, such as a call just to say "Hello". I am an old fashioned girl in the sense that I like my doors held open and I like being a treated as a woman. I believe a balanced life is important to happiness. That includes the ability to enjoy life and have fun, while also taking responsibility for the things we must do that are not considered to be fun.

First of all, God is very important in my life, without him I would be nothing, second I am a Mom to the most amazing child in the world! I love my family and enjoy being with them. I do enjoy life and all if has to offer.

I have to start by saying I'm very independent but I love feeling wanted. I love being out on a boat in the summer, enjoying a glass of wine, reading a new best seller novel, gardening, playing with my beautiful grandchildren; my favorite thing to do is travel. I would do it more often if I had someone to enjoy traveling with.

My Christian faith is very important to me too.

I believe in treating a lady like a lady, doing things like bringing flowers, just because. I'm patient, understanding, caring, intelligent, witty, thoughtful, have a good sense of humor and generous. I’m university edumacated. Most importantly, I'm at peace with no baggage. I can compromise without compromising principles. I tend to be quiet and reserved at first, but soon we'll be laughing together. Semi-retired, I still do some computer work and graphic design. I like most music. I have a wide range of interests, but jumping out of airplanes is not in my repertoire! I do my best to look & feel younger. Most people think I'm 5-8 years younger than I am. Been told I'm a great cook and give fantastic massages. I volunteer at various community activities.

Having spent the last eighteen years raising my son, I'm now beginning a new chapter in life. I strive to hold on to traditional values while being open to explore new experiences. One of the things I'm excited about is meeting others that'll challenge me to step out of my box...and try new things. On some levels I feel I've lost who I am in return for being a Mom (no regrets at all)...now, I'm ready to start re-defining.

I enjoy helping and doing for others but also have a desire to find balance in receiving the same from the ones to which I'm connected. My Christian journey has brought me to a place where I better understand the need for standing firm in a strong set of morals, being honest & genuine, seeking laughter, and having a mutual passion for Christ.

My nature is to be introverted, I'm more comfortable with one-on-one situations vs the big group dynamic (although this WOULD be out of my box). I enjoy in-depth conversation (at the appropriate time) that help to really get to know and understand who a person is. I'm very big on a well balanced level of communication where actions match words and visa-versa.

I'm pretty low-key and flexible. Easy to talk to and offering a genine desire to learn and understand people.

I was bornand raised in Kansas and have slowely moved south until reaching Texas. In my profession I work with homeless and abused children. This is a job which can be quite rewarding while at the same time a sad.
I love the beach with the sound of the waves crashing to shore, a full moon shining on the waves and the warmth of the sand.
I love riding my motorcyle. It's my way of relaxing and a perfect time to pray. I ride with an organization which helps empower abused children. Nothing is so awesome as to see an abused child smile and begin to live their lives again as a child.

I just built a patio onto my home and love sitting out by the fire-pit with a glass of wine. I enjoy cooking and would like to find someone that is a good cook to create new dishes together.
