Well, I just retired having spent many years as a counselor. I'm a laid back person, easy going, and decided to put my profile on this site. I'm not sure what to say about myself. I'd just like to meet up with a guy who enjoys being real as I'm not interested in material things or status.

My passions are living and sharing life's experiences with friends and family followed by learning about and experiencing new places. I am outgoing, intelligent, fun, easygoing, quick to laugh and smile. I try not to take myself too seriously and I'm curious and open to different viewpoints. I have always loved to read. Enjoy live music, going to the movies, and trying new restaurants. I really like my job and have been at my current firm for almost 20 years. I play tennis, walk/run a few times a week and try to eat healthy (most of the time!). I enjoy making new friends and keeping up with old ones. I can be irreverent at times and love to make people laugh.

I am looking forward to retiring. I have a few ideas as to what I want to do. One is I'd like to move to the country where I can grow lots of flowers and veggies. I enjoy watching the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly. I'd love to have animals. I'm ready to leave the big city of Houston and settle into country life. I know little of farm life so my newfound partner would have to teach me.

Another idea is to live on a boat. I love the water, love to boat, fish & swim. I'm a good navigtor and a good deck hand, but not a good Captain, so my newfound partner would have to be a good Captain. I can play the role of Admiral when needed.

Another idea is to move to Florida to one of those Senior Communities. I love the little pimped out golf carts. I love to travel and would love to travel abroad for months at a time. I enjoy geneology and would love to visit countries of my ancestors.

In the meantime, I mostly enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoy camping, stargazing, gardening, almost anything outdoors. Indoors, I like to watch reality tv, movies, play cards. I can dress up or dress down. Prefer dressing down mostly. I can dance, but not my favorite thing to do.

I am retired, own my home and i am an active in United Memoial Dr. Methodist Church. Both of my daughters live in this area and I have three grandchildren. Playes, musicals and the fine arts are a part of my life.

My passions are life and adventures which is anything new or I have not tried. Love being with family and friends. Outdoor sports and being on the water. I have spent the last four years cruising on sailboats and yachts seeing many marinas, anchorages great countries so that has been one of my very best adventures so far.
