I realized a few years after divorce, I'm not meant to be alone. I need a significant other in my life. I'm all about family. At almost 58, I look forward to changing my grand-kids diapers. Been there, done that.

I can cook but not for crowds, I need my 'honey' to help with that. I really miss growing veggies. I work for the WSDOT, 30 years now. Love my job in Traffic Operations. Will be there another 10 years or so.

I ride sometimes. I'm an athlete at heart, but not as much in practice as I'd like. My bicycle is going on 25 years old and I still ride to work....and some long weekend rides. I'm thinking about 40 miles is my max nowadays. I also belong to a gym. Fitness 19. I go 2 -3 times a week. I'm not in perfect shape but trying to hang in.

Although I have lived in Seattle my entire life, I don't fit a profile. I am looking for a partner with like values and politics. i moved to seattle in retirement and love every day of my life here. the proximity to woods and water provide me with endless hours of hiking and drinking in nature. i also enjoy the seattle cultural community; everything from local musicians to small and large theatre groups to the yearly film festival. i even like the weather.

Just put me outdoors where I can go running or hiking, read a good book in the sun, explore a beautiful place, or learn something new, and I'm happy. Life is good to me. I’m having a great time working part time in a downtown Seattle gallery. Two weekends a month I spend at my shared Pt. Townsend home. It’s the best of both worlds with easy walking to the theatre or along the beach. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family here in the Northwest, or visiting my daughter in NYC. It’s a treat to snuggle with a good book, struggle with a puzzle, walk along the shore, hike in the woods, stroll along a cobblestone street and sing along with my favorite music; pop, rock and jazz.

I was born and raised in New York, It was early on I developed a love of theatre--big Broadway shows and great small local productions. I even started a theatre company in Bellevue. We had a great time for many years. Although NYC is my favorite city, I have enjoyed traveling our continent and abroad. My practical side includes years of teaching math, science and anthropology; my fun side loves to go to films, art galleries and museums and to share conversations over a good cup of coffee.

I have relocated to Seattle , after 25 years working in Northern Ca. I grew up there, and attended U.W. ( Go "Dogs") I have several relatives living there and friends living there. Anyway..... Bad hair day? Forget about it. Who cares . However, what counts is that "good nice person" inside of you and me ; it stands the "test of time" for a real and loving relationship. I have a very "good person" inside of me, and I believe you do also. I know when to laught appropriately person to person or in a group, and to be carrying and gentle when it's called upon. I am a quiet competitive person, with a "soft touch". I enjoy most all foods and make terrific salads and seafood dishes. I have been partners in two businesses; the last was a family business, which I left a few years ago, to enjoy life. However , I do work partime contract accounting jobsl. I play golf , sport fish, (will try skiing again), watch good movies , enjoy eating at good restaurants, dancing for fun, and travel to friendly to "Americans" places. I visited Viet Nam a couple years ago and had a great time there.(I have traveled theFar East Asia for Business).
