I go to my local YMCA almost everyday and mostly swim. I start my routine spending the first 15 minutes in the hot tube to loosen up and into the therapy pool for some vigorous exercising.I love to cook and don't mind doing my own laundry. I love the mountains. I don't hunt but still enjoy fishing and camping. I'm in a Gold prospectors club and love to pan for Gold. I love watching sports. Especially the Gonzaga Bulldogs Basketball team in the winter. Hopping in the car and just going for a drive on the spur of the moment is fun to. Finding that special antique store in a small town looking for that special treasure hiding on a shelf at a yard sale is also a real thrill.

A widow for 15 years, I have learned much about myself and at this stage of life, I would be open to having a relationship with a like minded man. I am very active, yet enjoy deep conversation and fun! I want to start slow and build on mutual interests and passions. I feel my life has impacted many and I have the energy and desire to continue on that path. I just returned from a month in Costa Rica with a small backpack and no agenda. Would have been more fun to share it with a soul mate!! I spend time in the Wenatchee area as two of my children and four grandchildren live there. Retirement is new to me, so I am figuring our what it looks like on a daily basis! I want my faith to be real in how I live, how I spend my time and money, so life is a learning process. Living in the now, making the most of every day, is a goal even though I slip into the past or future. I love life and have learned through the challenges that we are not alone, and that God is a loving and faithful God. As a former school counselor, I have learned to walk with people as they figure out life, and many of my former students are now close friends. I truly am blessed, but would love to meet someone to share the second half of life.

I am poor as a church mouse...but thankful for what I do have. I am quiet, I am an avid reader, I write poetry, draw, and do all sorts of crafts. I will tell you more if or when you decide you might like to know more...meantime....we could always get together for a cup of coffee or tea.
