I enjoy talking, exercise, gardening and traveling to visit friends and family. I usually read non- fiction. I don't listen to or watch Fox News. I watch the BBC and PBS news. I watch college football in the fall. I do read the NYT daily. I do cook and will cook for female friends at times.
Traveling friends can stay together is my basic thought.
I sing in an octet that performs at assisted living centers, churches and the Washington Police & Fire Academy chaplain graduations. I prefer Jungian concepts to Freudian. My two world views are scientific technical and religious/spiritual. The first view is scientific, or, the world works like a web and the universe consists of matter and forces. My second world view is traditional/spiritual or invisible universe exists beyond matter( body) and is called mind, soul and spirit. I define God as love. I believe love can be realized through suffering. God is a belief and a mystery. So I could be accurately labeled a Christian mysterian. I am empathetic and systematic. I think good partners are also good friends and enjoy some but not all activities together. I think good partners are attentive to the needs of the other be they physical, emotional or spiritual.

I'm a high school teacher and football coach at the small college level.

I really enjoy the special light that comes on when one of my students or players "gets it". Not many better fulfilling things a job can offer than that.

I'm back. There is so much I could say and even draw a picture(not really) but don't you feel there is a certain mystery in discovery? Part of the fun in any relationship is the getting to know you phase and learning a little more about yourself in the process. I enjoy doing almost anything that keeps my mind engaged.
