Oh good you got past the bad pic. Mine is a slightly warped sense of humor and outlook on life. Throw in a bit of mischief with an outgoing personality, destination sometimes unknown. I have all of the important Boy Scout qualities. Really quite sane, well grounded , but not stuck in the mud. I could throw in a bunch more cool descriptive adjectives about me, but what's the mystery in that and only you can decide if they are true. Despite all efforts, I will always be built for comfort, not for speed .. love/hate relationship with my rowing machine. Outdoor activities especially woods and rivers. Dining out, shared cooking .. I follow directions well. Movies .. real plot and dialogue help. I love music with blues being my Fav but open to almost anything. Live is best. I don't play but have numerous friends who do on a professional level.

Spring is here, summer on the way, time to get out-and-about! Love weekend getaways and day trips, little laid-back adventures, sharing time, and laughs, with someone who enjoys the same. I have two "inflatables" (kayaks, in this instance...), and tough to top a Sunday in the middle of a mountain lake, M's on the radio and a frosty one in hand. Finish up the day with a bit of BBQ and a fire in the backyard. Music and sports fan (Hawks tix 34 years and counting), perpetual home "improvement "(?) projects underway, love gardening and outdoor projects.

Somewhat eccentric sense of humor, I suppose, self-deprecating. Self-employed after 30 years with banks and credit unions very pleased to be but a lot of work!

Likes...? VIntage all!... drums, vinyl, clothes, slot cars, hydroplanes, Christmas ornaments Rockabilly, Power Pop. Love antiques, but moreso second hand, junk, estate and garage sales.

My daughter says I am young for my age. I am healthy, active and enjoy walking, camping, driving to the mountains or the ocean and exploring new areas in the Northwest. I also enjoy going out to dinner and going to the movies. I do not drink, smoke or gamble. I have 3 sons, 1 daughter and 8 grandchildren that I see often. My family is very important to me. I drive to Mt Vernon 4 times a month and stay with my daughter and her family for fun.

I am not your normal male. I enjoy shopping, cooking and trying new things all the time. I am a professional and love to support the community, charities and friends when they need help. I am loyal to a fault and feel that integrity counts. Overall the words “always does this” ... cant be used with me because I like to do so many things all the way from concerts, museums, listening to music, travel, camping, walking, hikes, remodeling, taking a drive or creating that special date activity for that special someone. I am starting the second half of my life to take my learning’s and match them with that special individual to live the rest of my life with. In my career I have traveled the world and appreciate all cultures and individuals and welcome sharing those experiences perhaps in future adventures with someone. My son has called me the Ty Pennington of remodeling because I can do just about anything and enjoy the gratification of turning something old into something new or I enjoy helping others figure it out. My friends call me a great guy … I don’t know what that means .. but it sounds good.

Well now, let's see. At various points in my life, I've been involved in many things. My background is journalism, but I've been in business for myself for 20-plus years. Today, I'm attempting to get a weekly newspaper off the ground (of course, the timing is not the best), start an art leasing company and write a book. For sure, all of this seems a bit on the ambitious side, and I know when you talk too much about something, the chances are that nothing much happens. And that's what I'm trying not to let happen. Still, though, I know how to reach goals, how to make things come about, and today that takes up much of my time. At present, I'm divorced and looking for someone to put that spark back into my life.

I've had the same job for 37 yrs. I am fit, patient, intelligent, easygoingand afectionate. I love to travel when I can short or long. I like to cook or BBQ and spend time with friends.I am neat and orderly. A gentleman who does like a good happy hour. Everyone has some baggage of some kind....Oh well. I am happy most of the time and a joker when you get to know me.

New to this. Will most likely state many things when asked. Stay at home body, that also admires attending live musical theater, and/or classical music concerts. Dog lover who recently lost a best friend. Like also, to simply get away to the hills for solitude. I am a midwestrn fellow with all of the values towards family and friends that you've heard about from folks from the bible belt. Arrived in the Pacific NW in the 60's however, at uncle Sam's invitation, and stayed. Had never seen a mountain or the ocean'till then. I truly try to live the dictum which was stated by a fellow Missouri boy who became rather famous: "If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything". I have travelled extensively in earlier times, and do not see travel as a glamorous thing, just for travel's sake. I do, however, like to take some time and do road trips around this glorious country. Have never seen Mt. Rushmore, and have only flown over the Grand Canyon. Would like to go stand in it someday. Have been to Beale Street and the French Quarter, and will return there anytime. Both are a real hoot.

My passion is to find a young lady to spend special times with. I consider myself to be spontaneous and very adventurous. I love the outdoors and walks in the rain. I also like cuddling up to a good movie and a fire. I am not into head games and feel that most things have something positive within them. If I am lucky enough to find the right lady, I will make sure she knows just how special and important she is to my life and my happiness. Hi, work for a large union contractor operating heavy equipment. when i got married she had a girl an a boy, i had a girl an we had two daughter's together.I have two lovely granddaughter's ruby 6mo an lilly 4yrs. Right now i live in fife for a little while till i figure out where i want to settle.I like the outdoors, like to travel an going out to eat.I'm pretty much open to anything, love golf but a little worried after two shoulder surgeries.I've been told i'm a nice guy an i have good morals an values, thanks to my mom an dad.
