I am a retired army nurse and for the last two years have been managing several adult family homes. Currently I am taking a well deserved rest break from work. I may decide to stay permently retired. I prefer to wear blue jeans but l also look great in tie. I am 58", 155 lbs. Brown hair, blue eyes. I have mustache and keep my hair neatly trimmed. I am a spiritual person, not religious. I like to think of myself as intelligent, I have high self-esteem. I am very intense about a lot of things, very passionate, and a self-starter with a positive outlook on life. I have a great sense of humor and easily laugh. I am a very sexual, sensual and affectionate person. Lots of hugs, kisses, touching etc. I love the great outdoors, hiking, fishing. There is nothing better then walking in a soft gentle rain or a walk deep into the forest. . I am man with deep feelings that I easily give away, so I am easily hurt.

I want to find someone that I don't want to live without. When we're apart, I can't wait to see again. Sometimes I feel there's a hole inside me an emptiness that, at times seems to burn. I think that, if you lifted my heart to your ear, probably you could hear the ocean. I have this dream of being whole; of not going to sleep each night wanting. But still sometimes when the wind is warm, or the crickets sing I dream of a love that even time will lie down and be still for. Honey, I haven't found you yet, . When I find you the highs will be higher, and the lows won't matter.

I'm a smart, funny, spiritual, sophisticated, playful, down-to-earth, passionate, "touchy-feely" incurable romantic with an open and loving heart who loves to laugh, kiss, cuddle and be silly. I enjoy elegant affairs as much as events that call for jeans, t-shirt, and a Polo cap. Because I prefer the apprentice-to-master way of life, my longing for learning and growing is never fully sated. Friends describe me as vivacious and quick witted. I believe I have immatured very well! I am still an inquisitive and mischievous five year old, an irreverent seventeen year old, an indefatigable twenty eight year old, an adventurous thirty five year old who celebrates the miracle of life everyday, a forty two year old who seeks the gifts and opportunities in life which are brilliantly disguised as problems, and a sixty-four year young woman who has earned the gift of self-knowledge and contentment through years of introspection. Recent widow believes life needs to go on. Like to cook, evenings home with some night life. Love to dance. Love the outdoors. Love my two grown sons and my grandchildren. By virture of my previous life, love the opportunity for fishing and some hunting. Really connected to the sporting goods industry. Not afraid to try new things, in fact life gets pretty boring if you have new adventures. Love to travel both international and domestic. Have gone a a couple of cruises and would like to do that again sometime.

I love to watercolor paint, do misc. crafts watch old movies, reading, traveling, gardening(flowers, herbs)home decor....many other things and, most of all, spending time with a special man, doing what he likes to do, too.I have a good sense of humor and an open mind about most things.

Like the outdoors, have many hobbies, like to cook, dance, play bridge.

I belong to some ladies groups that are involved in helping the community. Love dogs and just got a small one. The Bible is the book I read the most, and sets the standards I try to live by. I also like self-help books because they inspire me. I have been told that I am very caring, and empathetic, loving person. Want to stay in the Vancouver Portland area.

i like hiking , a quit spot by the Lewis river, i'm also working on improving my fitness and health, i do landscaping in summer, keeps me active , .i also like golf, mountain biking and target shooting..you need to be a dog person and Love animals. also take them out daily to places like david douglass park, blanford trail, day break park, . I've always been an active and, a hard worker and keep up the house and, i like a well kept yard, i. want to move a head in this stage of life, with someone special.
i would like to meet someone nice, confident, knows she is special person and .loves the outdoors. my family and grandkids are a big part of my life, have fun playing with grand kids and takeing them when i walk dogs.i like going out , and listen to some good local music i like old rock, zydeco,
, cajun, and any good dance band, shot pool, hang out, what ever, and like to keep active keeping by going out and find new trails and spots to check out.
i'm a nice, easygoing confident man and was faithful for 28 yrs. who likes to laugh. and have fun no matter what i'm doing.
also like to follow supercross and moto cross series, any type raceing works for me.

I am retired from the world of Wildfire fighting , did that for 45 plus years and am enjoying retirment and would like to share my time with someone. I’m single, semi retired and looking to start a new venture in life with gusto and a commitment with an other person. I come with a great respect for a relationship and an open heart and mind knowing it takes both partners 110% to be involved but with that being said I am looking to be slow in the long commitments and start as friends and let life evolve.
