Single and ready to mingle, at least for a while until I meet that certain special person. I love to travel, play golf, go to sporting events, and many other events of common interest. Summers, I enjoy time on the lakes as well as the links. Winters are for skiing. I enjoy dancing and romantic evenings. Initially, I'm looking for a fun acquaintance. If the chemistry is right, we'll climb the ladder one day at a time. I'd like to meet someone that matches many of my criteria. I'd like her to have a good sense of humor and be open-minded. A healthy lifestyle and appearance are important. A good decision maker is a plus.

I am a walker (usually 2 to 3 miles a day) just to keep somewhat fit) I weigh about 188 lbs, but am aiming for that 175-180 mark. I live in a home alone in Madison. I enjoy sports, tthe outdoors, along with traveling to other states for the sites.

I grew up in the country near a small town in southern Wisconsin. I have lived in Madison, WI. since 1968. I worked at the UW. until about 1998.

One version of a great date/evening is to share a nice wine, discuss our day and banter while making a nice meal together, stimulating conversation, a slight touch that says "I'm really glad you're here". Then maybe relax with a movie, take a walk, attend a play or concert , or go to Michaels for some type of decadence! Maybe read together intertwined on the couch. After I know you better, maybe you'd get a great foot massage (if your feet are clean!!)

I've been blessed with 5 children, 4 of whom I adopted. I've received so much more from them than I've given.

I'm an "up" person - I start the morning with a smile and a kind word, then enjoy my coffee while I absorb the news and sports.

I consider myself easy going a little laid back but not asleep and I try to keep an open mind on how other people view things instead of just how I see things.

I have always loved being in relationships; Have had two long term marriages; two other 4 + years relationships. I know what it takes to work together and respect each others interests, passions and build a life together.
I now sadly, am much more cautious of the sincerity of people after some not so great experiences. I have met many nice women, but not the spark. Sometimes it was me not letting in; more often it was game playing and getting free dinner, drinks but not serious.

I am now ready to consider that....))))))

I awake happy to attack each day yet could be happier with a special woman beside me... I am laid back but straight forward and honest, flawed/human, determined, emotionally available without being weak, and I am very loving and affectionate... I am spiritually and morally strong without being some zealous nut case... and a good (twisted) sense of humor is quite important to me... All you need to know is I that have absolutely no (that's zero, none, nada) interest in being involved with more than one woman... ever! I don't even understand why anyone would... so there!

I enjoy humor, fantasy, sensuality, movement, diversity, mentally and physically healthy activities, and shared intimacies. I enjoy stimulating conversation, and know lots big words, but tend to use the smaller, more efficient ones. For work, I'm a forensic neuropsychologist (I testify in court a lot, and that's really fun and challenging), but work's down on my priorities list. Life is tops.

I am very easy going, laid back down to earth with family values, church oriented, and like watching and going to sporting events. Love to play cards, and like to exercise, along with going dancing.

Warm, Sincere, Athletic, Romantic, Fun and in love with life. Happy to still have my hair. The greatest gift my parents gave me was a sense of humor that has gotten me though the many challenges of life. Kids and pets absolutely love me because we are so much alike. LOL

I have had many wonderful life experiences from Ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, to dining with the Greek President at the Parthenon, to bringing life saving technology to the operating room, but I enjoy nothing as much as a guitar, a campfire and good friends and loved ones telling stories, some jokes and a everyone singing some good songs.

I like international travel, skiing, boating, singing, guitars, dancing, Classic cars, football, bicycles, beaches and sunsets, genuine people. I play guitar and sing, sometimes professionally, always fun.
