I am a published author working on a sequel and am looking for somebody to take along on the journey. That somebody will hopefully be the highlight of my twilight.

I am a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, specialized in transportation and other logistics, and spent fifteen years in Germany. My wife died two years ago after suffering Picks Disease, a form of dementia.

My friends consider me a very sincere incividual. I like most outdoor activities, biking, camping, fishing, racing and working on the yard (weird I know) just to name a few. I enjoy the creativity of woodworking and have received many compliments. Walking my English Setter gave me opportunities to meet and talk to a variety of people and just enjoy the weather and exercise, but I have recently lost my best friend of 14 years (Gracie) and this has left a huge vacuum in my life. This will take some time to fill the void I have been left with.

Some day I want to grow up.

I love to golf, work on my cabin up North, spend time with the grandchildren, do stained glass and run a small home business.

I am retired from Milwaukee Public Schools where I worked for the Research dept. Currently I am going back to school where I take courses in mathematics and computer science. I hope to use this knowledge to learn how to invest some of my retirement money. Although having money is no supper important to me I find financial and economic data interesting to analyze and would like to get a part time job as consultant doing research on this kind of data.

I am a fun loving guy. I love to laugh and have a good time.(Am I original or what?).

I have a son, whom I am extremely proud of. He graduated from college and is now a teacher.

I am caring, compassionate, dependable, and like to show affection. Honesty and fidelity are values that are very important to me. I am energetic and hard working. I like to help my friends, and even strangers, if they could use a hand.

Communication is key to a good and healthy relationship. Compromise and consideration are important to me.

I want a partner to share new experiences with, has similiar values and enjoys being outdoors.

Money has never been a driving force in my life. Id say that I have enough to live comfortably and if your into the rich and famous you may want to bypass me. Love my weekends which are spent on the golf course in summer and in my music studio in the winter. Probably wont retire any time soon. Id most likely work until I was physically or mentally incapable or until they kick me out the door.

G.H.O.B. It's hard to talk about yourself with seeming full of it, laid back personality, easy to get along with, good sense of humor, like to laugh-often at myself, 5'6" and wt. bounces around 170-180 and it seems I'm always trying to loose a few pounds. I have varied interests, friends, Packers, auto racing, car shows, air shows, backyard BBQ, festivals, casual beer and burger, fine dining and more. Prefer jeans and polo shirt to coat and tie. I'm the pet human of a bratty (spoiled) Old English Sheepdog-I don't know if the dog looks like me or if I look like the dog. I'm honest, not into games and told I'm a good person. I'm not perfect and not looking for perfection, just a good gal to spend time with and hopefully something will develop. It would be fun if you are willing to go along with a totally outrageous fabrication as to how we met, like "We met while being interviewed for the Jerry Springer Show." Or, maybe you can come up with something better such as, We were serving in the French Foreign Legion or we were introduced by aliens in Area 51. Please think of something creative and fun. I believe "growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional."

I spend a lot of time reading lately. Just can't seem to learn enough. I realized how little I really knew. Like to bike and hike. Getting back to the shape I was in when in my 30s. Not easy but getting there. Bowling, tennis, table tennis, basketball, touch football, and volleyball. Are a few of the sports I partipate in. Love watching the packers! I love to kiss so you must love that too.

I love my job - I established an independent medical clinic away from the politics and economics of "hospital" and big health care system life. Scuba diving is a passion as is reading and writing. And I like the arts - music/art museums. I enjoy a variety of things as well as staying in with someone I care for deeply. The connection is everything.

My wife passed away in the last year. I'm ready to begin dating/meeting new women and look forward to

finding my new best friend. I have a healthy lifestyle and regularly shop at the Outpost Food store. in addition, to

enjoying the food at Outpost, I do some cooking as well and try new recipes out of the cooking magazines I receive

monthly. I practice yoga.pilates, and aerobics on a weekly basis. I enjoy conversation, am an avid reader, and travel

when I can.
