I moved to Salem from Wyoming 2 years ago...reason for being here?...I am West Coast born and raised and wanted to return. Grew up in SF Bay Area, raised 2 boys, lived in the Seattle area for 20 years and love the Pacific NW. I am very active in the community: volunteer, musician -vocal and instrumental, and help w/event planning. Career primarily in marketing/tradeshow coordination in Seattle for biotech + companies. I love my life now which includes upcoming travel to Seattle and Prague. The freedom to follow my desires and dreams now is incredible.

My passion in life is to settle down with a person compatible to my likes and dislikes. I am a very loving person, and I love taking walks, movies, and just laying around for an evening on the couch cuddling. I like to travel and I am open to new adventures. Ilove to laugh, I'm good at cleaning and cooking as I feel it's mostly a womens job, as long as I get respected and appreciated for the things I do.

Horses are my passion! Whether it's being outside working them or caring for them daily, or loading up and heading for a weekend in the mountains, they're what my life is about! Nothing compares to the exhilaration I feel when riding up a rugged mountain trail... unless it's packing miles into the wilderness and spending a week in an alpine meadow with the sounds of a roaring creek just outside the tent. Mmmm... cowboy coffee and breakfast cooked over the campfire with the sun rising over the pine trees and the horses peacefully grazing in knee-deep grass... it just doesn't get any better than that!
In case you haven't gathered it yet, I'm a pretty simple, straight forward kind of guy... you know, the whole "code of the west" thing... when a person's word still meant something... and folks still said "howdy" to their neighbors...
I usually kick around in boots and jeans and a cowboy hat. But, I clean up pretty good too! I actually own a suit (or two)... I've even attended functions OTHER than the rodeo! I enjoy classical music concerts and, of course, country and western concerts, and theater (depending on the play), just haven't quite been able to drag myself to an opera... dunno, I might be trainable on that one...

I love to have fun and I love the lord l love helping people be it speaking positive words of encouragement helping in anyway I can. I also love going out to dinner to the movies going to the parks fishing bowling throwing darts or try whatever my date wants do.
