A little about me...
NOTE: Today I got an E-Mail from "SeniorPeople" telling me my profile was changed by someone else and It was. So I had to change my name from DaveMcg to DavidMcg.
I hope that I am one of the good guys. I still like to treat a Lady with respect. I open the door for her and help her with her seat. I was married for 31 years before the divorce. Sometimes you just can't take any more and the bad times outweigh the good times. I still have a lot of good times in me. I like to travel and go somewhere about once a month. I am into cars and have my own shop where I restore old race cars and just like to fix things. I am into building model cars and have done masters for the Danbury mint that are now in production. I go to Contest and show my work. I still like it when one of my cars, big or little make it into a magazine or on the cover. I'm very helpful around the house. Fixing, cleaning, washing, cooking, laundry, and I don't mind a little snuggling up too. I use to watch too much TV and turned it off in August and I am trying to see how long it takes for me to turn it on again. The old radio sound good now. Of course I still need the computer. That is where I get all my news and keep up with the cars and model car world and UK sports

About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for someone who likes to travel even if it is just for a quick trip on a weekend. I do my regular trip to southern GA and FL in November and for the past 22 Years I have gone to the 24 Hour race at Daytona at the end of January.
I want someone who is honest with me and accepts my mistakes. I'm not perfect but nobody is and I don't expect a pardner to be perfect either. I take things in stride now and don't worry about the little things in life. There is always tomorrow if you don't get it done today. I like to enjoy life because you never know when your last day will come. I don't expect someone to dress up everyday or have dinner on the table right on time. I have learned to go with the flow. Take things as they come. Tomorrow brings a new day and old problems are gone. I hope you like flowers because I like to surprise you when you least expect it. I don't want to jump into anything right away. You have to get to know someone and become friends. Your pardner is your best friend.
I forgot to say that I don't smoke, drink, and have never tried any drugs ZERO ZERO ZERO. I guess I will just have to miss out on the so called fun. I would hope to find someone who doesn't either. That just leaves a little snuggling.

I'd just like to add...
I hope to meet someone who likes to travel and likes cars. I can leave the cars behind and enjoy the company of a nice lady too. It is a hobby to me, not a job. I am retired from the Post Office in Nicholasville and was a Rural Carrier for 28 years and had 4 years in the Air Force as a Weapons specialist, or a Bomb Loader. Interesting job but not what I wanted to do the rest of my life. I also had 6 years at the VA Hospital making it 38 years when I retired. What started out to be a hernia operation ended up with a second surgery and I saw that it was time to quit abusing my body and retire. I now work part time and drive a van around taking handicaped people to day care centers. The vans are owned by the Yellow Cab company but I don't drive the cabs. I get along with everybody and have fun when I can. I like to joke around and keep everybody laughing. Sometimes I talk to much but I know a lot of things about everything. At least I hope I do. I might like to talk but I am a good listener too. If it is important to you then it is important to me too.
