A little about me...
I have been a widow for 7 years and this is totally new for me. It does seem a little strange to meet people in this way but at this age, where do you go to meet people? So, I thought I would give this a try. I am Irish and French. I am pretty easy going and enjoy less pretentious surroundings and situations. I'm not a fussy, dress-up kind of gal. Been there, done that and find most often I enjoy more low key atmospheres. I love reading, photography, traveling and seeing new places as well as watching a beautiful sunset or a walk along a beach.
I'm an a easy to get along with and very loyal to everyone who is in my life. I am honest to a fault and looking for the same in someone else. Open communication is very important. I am a very good listener. A good sense of humor is very important. Laughter is the sunshine of life I believe.

About the one I'm looking for...
I don't care for big egos or controlling people. Someone who has compassion & integrity. A man who is a bit of a romantic, and not afraid to show his softer side.
A person who is kind and loving from the inside out. Looks fade but character and honesty should always be able to be seen. Someone who appreciates family and friends and would do anything in his power to be there for them in times of need.
Someone who enjoys quiet dinners, going dancing, going to the movies or a play. A glass of wine while watching a rainstorm or sitting by a fireplace. Perhaps a walk around NYC or along a beautiful beach. Even just a travel buddy if that's more what you are looking for.
I am looking for someone to share quality time with and let's see where it goes from there.

I'd just like to add...
I love to travel and see different places. I'm comfortable in most social situations. I would not consider myself a wall flower. I would initiate conversations with new people in the right setting but I am not an aggressive person by any means.
I'm more laid back and very easy to talk to.
I love photography and get out with my camera whenever I can. Love to shoot new places as well as flowers anywhere. My dream is to be able to say I have photographs from each and every state. I still have quite a ways to go on that end.
