A little about me...
I am an easy going, fun person who enjoys good friends and good times. I like card games including bridge and hearts, scrabble, movies, theatre, music, travel, Maine, good books, making beaded jewelry, and more. I am open to trying most new things (sorry, mountain climbing is not one of them!) I like good conversation and a good sense of humor. Everyone should have a laugh every day. Most things are better when you can share them with someone you care for.

About the one I'm looking for...
I'm looking for an honestly nice person, a good soul who is interesting, fun to be with, shares some of my interests and has some of his own. Maybe some of those will become some of mine also--I'm willing to try. I want someone who values other people, is easy to get along with (I hate to fight!), and makes me laugh. I want someone who enjoys doing different things, talking, and also having quiet time-like listening to music, reading a good book, watching a fire or a beautiful sunset. I also want someone who is friendly-has his own friends and can get along with mine. (I know some of my friends may be out of the ordinary...interesting...not saying you have to be friendly with all of them.) And I want someone who wants, and enjoys spending time with me.

I'd just like to add...
You never know if you'll get along with someone until you meet and spend some time together. I feel that reading about someone doesn't do it...
By the way, I have a 23 year old daughter living in San Francisco. She is very independent, very unique, with wonderful friends and interesting hobbies (she is a fire spinner and wont do it live in front of me because she says I will be too nervous). She means the world to me and I wouldn't want anyone to be mean or unkind to her, the same way I would never be mean or unkind to someone else's children (and even grandchildren). Everyone our age has baggage, mine is a very small carry-on, I really don't want to have to deal with someone with a trunk!
