A little about me...
As a Chicagoan for the first 39 years of my life, I got a bit of a wild hair one day and ended up in AZ. Well, there were a few more events that took place but basically, I have been in Ahwatukee for 19 years and really loved it for about ten. After that, not so much but, by that time, my daughter was in high school and it would have been tough to make a move. So, here I still am.
What started to be 'not so fun' had to do with the heat - ten years of it was enough. Also, when we moved out here, life was simple and almost rural. We picked corn down the road and enjoyed the wide open spaces. Now, the Valley has grown and it's urban living all over again. Not the end of the world but as a result, I do try to get away for weekends about once a month. Never go very far but recently was in Tuscon and next week I am off Flag.

About the one I'm looking for...
Tops on my list
--good physical health
--grounded spiritually - in a good church, serving others
--good income, good work, not a workaholic
--can travel a bit
--has several good friends
--fun and funny
--no red flags
My top lessons learned are....if the red flags are up before you even start swimming, get out of the water!
--know what your non-negotiables are ahead of time.
--slow down.
--we give, love, help, etc. out of the overflow.
--when you are 'mature', the same rules don't necessarily apply(regarding dating, romance, etc).
--life works when we do what God says to do.
I am sure there are a few more lessons to add but this is what immediately came to my mind!

I'd just like to add...
I am project person but don't always have the right tools so, I have fun completing projects in unorthodox ways and I enjoy working alongside folks who know what they were doing.

Another interest - I have not sailed in years but do love almost all things water related (except maybe jellyfish). And, I also love almost everything to do with the out-of-doors.
