A little about me...
I am retired, widowed after 35 years of marriage, have two grown children, although I help my son with some things from time to time, conservative, Libertarian, blog editor and contributor. Do love to sing karaoke whenever I get the chance, also like dancing, all kinds of music, action and sci-fi movies, some TV shows, especially football, (pro and college) and good books.
Veteran, served in Berlin, Germany, have traveled extensively, lived in or visited more than 16 different countries, 37 states, and some 186 cities, towns, villages across the globe.
At various times I studied, learned, spoke and forgot, German, French, Hindi, Urdu, Japanese and very small amount of Russian. Wish I had kept up on all of those, now that I think about it! German was by far my most proficient, though.

About the one I'm looking for...
What am I looking for? Mainly, interesting people who like to enjoy life and can carry on a decent conversation, who like to dance, enjoy good food and wine, do drink (socially at least.) I am not for the faint of heart, do like to dance, have been known to stay on the dance floor for up to three hours straight! (In earlier times!)
Like the sign says, "Only REAL people need apply!" BTW, I prefer taller women, usually 5'8" or above, but can adjust, this is not necessarily a deal breaker!
