A little about me...
Hi to all you fellows that are still believing in romance. I've had my faith in love shaken at times, but am willing to try again. Slow learner, perhaps.
I am pretty easy to get along with, and don't need a care taker, either personally or financially. I'm just looking for someone to share things with. I'm open to new activities, and have a wide variety of interests.
I just retired in April. So far, I'm lovin' it. I still work a few days a month, which seems perfect.
My life is good, I've worked hard, and am enjoying this stage. It would be better with a real, true love. That might happen - it might not either. Or maybe I'll just make new friends.
About the one I'm looking for...
I used to have a longer list. I'm looking for someone that can think and carry on a conversation and has a sense of humor. I'd like to find someone I enjoy staying home with as much as I enjoy going out with.
My political beliefs are pretty liberal. I know that's not the norm in Nebraska, but just so you know up front. I'm also not at all religious, so if that's a big part of your life, I'm probably not for you.
I'd just like to add...
I like most types of food, and am as happy eating in as eating out. I watch sports, including football, baseball and golf. I'm not as excited about basketball. I go to the golf course and swing my clubs sometimes, but wouldn't really call myself a golfer. (I drive the cart better than the ball.)
I like to read, go to the movies, pretty standard stuff.
I have family in the area, and they're a big part of my life (but not my whole life).
