A little about me...
Please excuse all the I's. I am: not someone who plays relationship games, not a deceitful person. I believe in being direct. I look at life as the 'glass half-full' -- grateful for my blessings, despite past challenges that only make one stronger. I believe in looking at the good things in life. I have a strong faith in God and expect that from a mate. I like to have fun and love a sense of humor. I'm serious when it's called for, am intelligent and like thought-provoking conversation. I'm a good person, caring, affectionate, a hard worker, loyal, committed, talented, giving, thoughtful, a good friend, supportive partner.

I am not looking for a one-night stand(being direct!) nor looking to get married next month, either! Good relationships take time to build. Trust, compatibility take time to establish.

About the one I'm looking for...
My ideal man will become my best friend and confidante. He is intelligent, attractive, caring, affectionate, passionate, has the wisdom of a life well lived, likes people, a sense of humor and ability to laugh at oneself, compassionate, steadfast, strong yet able to express his feelings, with a willingness to volunteer time to help others, a good communicator, likes to entertain at home, try new things, but also able to relax and enjoy sunsets and walks on a beach, holding hands. He will be financially stable. He will not be 'needy' though we all have needs. He does not need me to 'complete' him, but to add quality of a relationship that we both benefit from. Someone who likes to travel but enjoys coming back 'home.' Someone who enjoys books, movies, sports, symphony orchestras, balancing being with people and quality alone time, just the two of us. Someone who enjoys the comfort of a close family life, especially at holiday time.

I'd just like to add...
I enjoy what life has to offer, appreciate what has come before, and still have an excitement for what lies ahead. I prefer not to live the rest of life alone, only if the right person comes along, at the right time and place. If not, that's OK, too.
