A little about me...
I am passionate about gardening--flowers and shrubs only--and creating my own fresh bouquets! I really enjoy reading and good discussions, as well as traveling and just meeting people. Retired school teacher who loved it for 27 years. God and prayer, as well as family and friends are a huge part of my life!

About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for another human being who shares my interests as well as being compassionate and a life-long learner. Hopefully, he would believe in God and the grace and redemption He brings to our lives. The one I am looking for will hopefully be patient for more photos as I have become technologically challenged since leaving the official work force!

I'd just like to add...
Certainly, it would be refreshing to be with some one who enjoys life--who looks for the silver lining in the bad times and is spirited in the good times; Let's have fun!!! Life is too short to waste time, although I do like to sleep for refreshment and rest! Quiet times are good! Do like coffee? Reading the newspaper? I am not perfect and you wouldn't expected to be either! I love meeting people and learning about their lives and experiences!

Real friends can be in the same room, reading or doing whatever and not feel compelled to have conversation. They are with each other and just the company of a good friend is contentment.

Sometimes, there is nothing more peaceful and/or romantic than a quite walk just holding hands. Or, maybe a quite walk with some heartfelt conversation of trust and aspirations, or maybe a quite time sharing disappointments and grief, because both are a part of life.

All is not so serious, though. There are movies, cultural events, traveling, museums. sports events, tours, sports. Generally, a healthy walk never hurt anyone. Bowling? Let's try Wii bowling. It's proximity to actual bowling amazes me!
