A little about me...
Hi There,

I enjoy travel and have spent time in Australia, Italy, England, France and Austria. Have traveled much of the USA and some of the Islands.

My careers have been based around teaching students ages 3 to 102 years of age. Early childhood education, special needs, working with the blind and visually impaired and ESL are my background.

Other areas of expertise have been sales (being proprietor of a small store), acting as a tour director and automobile and realestate sales. I have also helped out with ticket subscriptions for the PSO. Volunteering has given me great satisfaction working with the immigrant population, Portland Information and Bureau of Tourism, PSO, and am currently volunteering as a Yoga instructor.

I am a certified Yoga instructor, have become a Notary Republic hoping to perform marriage ceremonies on the Maine coast. After years of taking notes and writing down ideas, I am writing and hope to publish my poetry.

About the one I'm looking for...
I enjoy being active and eating a healthy diet. I enjoy walking, hiking, going to the gym, cooking, entertaining friends and family, playing bridge, helping those who need or request help and believe laughing, activity, fresh air and positive thinking help to promote health and longevity.

I like reading and researching matters of interest and, will admit, I am not much of a sitter unless I can do something that is productive while sitting (ie; reading, writing, games).

I do hope to find someone who has similiar interests, who possesses a sense of humor, loves to laugh has a positive outlook on life, respects people and their differences, continues to be active, does not necessarily conform to an established religion but who is spiritually based. I'd just like to add...
It might be fun to have homes in two climates. I do feel that people remain more active and healthier in a warmer climate in the winter months. It is also safer and maybe less expensive not having to worry about driving in ice and snow and changing tires for safety. It is fun to think about what it would be like to be with someone whom with you click so much that holding hands and touching is an everyday event...and just looking into your eyes brings a patter to the heart, a glow to the cheeks and butterflies to the tummy.
