A little about me...
I am the oldest of nine children and I grew up in Vermont. Family is very important to me. Friends come and go, but my family has always been there for me. My brothers and sisters ARE my best friends.
From Vermont I lived in NH, NJ, NYC, NH, CA, NH, VT, VA, PA, VT, VA and now bac to VT. I lived in Alexandria, Virginia and like to return there to visit my friends. I haven't lived here in Vermont for very long and need a partner in crime to learn and experience life here .(and other places!) My child is grown (in the Navy) and I am ready to live life to the fullest. I want to go places, meet new people, and have new experiences . In other words I am ready to truly enjoy life!
I am intelligent, upbeat, open, romantic, caring, faithful, and friendly. The right relationship that really lasts is great, but hard to find. Let's start with conversation and friendship and see what blooms. To work, it should be a mutually respectful relationship that is stress free. This would be a treat for both of us, and we deserve it!

I want a man who likes being a gentleman. You are a non-smoker, upbeat, honest and smart. You take it in with an open mind, not judgmental--so its easy to enjoy new adventures. You should be smart, funny, confident, and...attractive of course! But attractiveness to me is more than just a pretty face...
My ideal date is the one where you are so comfortable talking that you lose track of time and you also don’t want the date to end.

I'd just like to add...
I have a cat and I am not getting rid of her. She has been my loyal companion for thirteen years.
I have raised my daughter, and the only babies I want now are grandbabies. (Don't get me wrong, I love children!)
I am not a great outdoors woman. I am not a tent camper. I like my comforts. I am not going fishing, hunting,4 wheeling.. Give me a motor home, a campfire and a glass of wine and we can TALK about it.
I am not a sports junkie at all. Will not root for any team. I WILL make the food, serve it, you could slip me a couple of bucks and then I will go shopping so you and the boys can enjoy the game
I am not a home body. I do not want a couch potato companion.(After work, OK but your days off let's get out and do something!)
I am not a “god fearing” woman. I have Christian beliefs that guide me thru life but don’t dominate my life.
