A little about me...
i'm content with who and where i am at 64.i'm easy going,laid back and mellow and ready for a new adventure. note well! no photo no "about you" = delete! basicly retired so i am relocating to south bend,washington,this sept.(rural but an hour to a big city).to a house near the ocean.so consider relocation,or splitting time between your home and mine as a possibility; be migratory follow the seasons.i had a career in alaskan salmon fisheries .i mostly processed salmon roe into caviar(ikura)for the japanese seafood market,i'm fairly well educated earning two degrees:an aa in english(on crusade to do away with spelling and grammer! know any one who still uses middle english?) and philosophy and a bs in agriculture and natural resources.

i'm not a religious person. not a christian.. very spiritual in an animistic,panthistic way;mixed with taoism and bhuddhism. i'm fine with someone who regulary worships as they see fit. i see nature as "the way":become one with it;eat wild harvested foods.especialy shellfish,mushrooms and berries and of course ducks and elk.
note i am a duck hunter! therefore i exist.so if you do not like hunting:bye. and i fish! a lot.do not expect you to do either;but would be nice if you did.

About the one I'm looking for...
seeking a woman(non-smoker)who is intelligent,well educated,that means "street smarts" as well as advanced degrees.a woman who is well read,loves a good conversation; who is equally as adept with tools as with ideas and words.a woman who is self aware,confident in who she is,and fit enough to paddle a canoe,hike in the woods,catch and clean fish. should have own set of interests:ski,golf,write ride horses/motorcycles,paint,photography,play tennis. i'm not looking for a clone of myself,broaden my horizions i'll broaden yours.however a sense of humor is a must!!,that includes the ability to roll your eyes and smile,when i come up with some ridiculous idea,antic,thought.:-) be at home in hipboots and in heels. note: if you are raising a child or grand child; that is just fine.kids can clean fish and weed,and are fun to be around.they keep you young. must like dogs: labrador retrivers. should have a gastonomic inclination towards the carnivourse,love hot and spicy food,be hot and spicy in the bedroom, love to read,appreciate good red wines,realize preparing an elaborate meal together is the start of foreplay.a woman who
understands that time for living is more valueable than any of the riches the world has to offer.

my life will center on remodeling my house.putting in sweat equity.so if you can use tools all the better.come to visit: work and play. walks on the beach? sure;if clamming or fishing or crabbing.

mild roasting peppers,okra,the sicilian holy trinity:basil,
fennel,oregano.getting great soil started is another project,when i'm settled in i plan to resume raising small livestock for my personal consumption.i enjoy music. from jerry jeff walker to pavoriti.love handel's water music and royal fireworks.hank williams sr. to bob dylan.enjoy poetry from basho's haikus to robert frost.my artistic side shows in my carving and painting of waterfowl and song birds,and making dolls.
i read a lot: mysteries,robert parker,sue grafton; natural histories,richard nelson,loren eisely,diane ackerman.
i enjoy evenings on patio grilling with friends and family.
cooking new dishes and trying new wines.how ever i also enjoy solitude.time alone for contemplation.why am i here? because i enjoy the companionship of a woman.i want the yin and yang balance,that one only gets when he meets the woman who is his soulmate.
