Kind, honest and open-minded are most important--affectionate, funny and happy are highly desirable. Most else negotiable but conservative politics probably won't work. Prefer someone with good, realistic self-esteem and room enough for a bit of adventure. While the online medium invites brevity, I look for someone who is really interested in connecting.

I'd just like to add...
Love animals, creating things, walking in woods and cities. Walking for the sake of walking is healthy but not fun. Walking for the sake of seeing sights or being together is. Not a team sports enthusiast and not interested in motor sports, so if you are willing to play or watch with other friends, I can always keep busy. Am NOT retired and not yet planning for it. I like what I do.
