A little about me...
I'm starting to seriously plan for the "next stage" of life, and I'd like a nice Catholic man to share it.

Little things don't bother me; a few prejudices and several firm opinions, but no drama, no grudges. I think I've mastered the art of knowing what does and doesn't matter. I can discuss most subjects intelligently, but I do expect it to be a discussion, not a lecture (from either of us). I just visited my 49th state and have travelled over much of Europe and part of the Orient. And so I can eat with chopsticks and order in French -- which can really confuse the waiter if you do them at the same time. Politically, I'm pretty far to the right, and a solid capitalist. But I don't like to talk politics, anyway.

Once upon a time I was an Army officer and a project manager; more recently, a leader of Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. At present I fancy myself a writer. Consequently, I need to get outside more! I enjoy walking, kayaking (some day I'll own one), tennis, dirt camping, golf, fancy restaurants.... Would love to find friends to do those things, and/or who play bridge or Scrabble or other mentally challenging rainy-day games. Love old movies, especially silent films. Not interested in TV, talk radio, or NASCAR. Sorry.

About the one I'm looking for...
The sexiest thing in the world, to me, is a man in a tuxedo. But a guy who is comfortable in a suit will do.

I want to meet a widowed or single Catholic gentleman who is lively, enthusiastic, kind, religous...and funny. I don't think that's an unrealistic expectation, because all of that applies to me, too. All except the gentleman part.

I'd just like to add...
Reading farther down, where it asks how romantic you are: I don't enjoy flowers, gifts, etc., and I don't remember or celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. "Low maintenance", if you will.

Not too much choice in my photos, I'm afraid, but that's because I'm always the one taking the pictures.
