A little about me...
My friends describe me as talented, articulate, attractive, intelligent and classy. I am thin, fit, work out 5-6 days a week, and in excellent health. I am a high energy person and like to be on-the-go and doing things much of the time. I am interested in cultural things - art, theater, dance, music, but I also love the everyday ordinary things life has to offer like walks in the outdoors, reading, listening to music (my favorites are jazz, blues, classic rock, and light classical), cooking, eating out, dancing, playing cards and games, taking day trips around Vermont and the region, city weekends, and occasional events where I can wear "my little black dresses". I listen to VPR/NPR regularly but watch very little TV - mostly just news on PBS, 60 Minutes, and Dancing With The Stars. I grew up on a farm so I love animals. I am an optimist and a romantic and am cheerful nearly all the time. I like to laugh and I have a good sense of humor. I am not religious - I would call myself agnostic. I am an artist, and am retired from a career in education

About the one I'm looking for...
I want a partner who is out-going, with energy for life and a desire to be doing things. I am very spontaneous, and will go pretty much anywhere or do anything without much notice or planning. I am looking for someone who likes the things I mentioned above, and who sometimes likes to get dressed up for special events. I also like to be at home - cooking, playing cards or games, reading together, watching a movie, taking a walk etc. Education and intelligence are important to me. I have a very liberal philosophy about life, social issues and politics so I would not be a good match for a Republican, Conservative, or Tea Partier. I am looking for a partner who is romantic and who really wants to live in a relationship 50/50. I am a neat, clean, and tidy person and would not be happy with someone who is sloppy about either their appearance or their living quarters.
