A little about me...
I quite contentedly live at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor on my 30 foot sailboat that I single-handed from California to Hawaii in 2002 (29 days.... and nights). I spend six months each year in Thailand (via China Airlines, not the boat). I’m neither a sex-tourist nor a pedophile. While there, I live more the life of the frugal expat rather than the spend-thrift tourist. I enjoy the differentness of operating in a quite different culture …always something fresh/new to learn/experience. I find it to be rejuvenating. I've taught English to Buddhist Monks and Air Traffic Controllers and school children and adults. Challenging. Fun. Rewarding. I own a motosai there, so am very mobile around town and between towns. After five years of this routine I’ve decided that I don’t want to mate up with a Thai woman; much too disparate cultures. But I’d like to have a partner to share and enjoy these experiences with. The idea of settling into a routine home-life in the states doesn’t have much appeal for me. ..maybe when I get old. Continued below…

About the one I'm looking for...
A modest SS retirement check is my sole income and there is nothing left over to support another person, consequently the other person would have to be financially self reliant. I’m kind, versatile, easy-going and genuine. I can/do laugh at my own foibles/mistakes. Years past I’ve enjoyed the pleasures and comforts of Ritz-Carlton and Carmel Valley Spas, etc., but that’s not really me. And now I and my wardrobe are not geared to that scene. I imbibe in my evening ration of elixir daily ….eveningly? It’s long been a part of my life, and it works very well, thank you. If that’s a concern.. OK ….just pass on by. Yes, I’ve rambled on a bit, but this little presentation is intended to let you know what’s in the package that you’re contemplating dealing with. Well, I guess that’s enough for now… except for: celibates, please don't apply. If you think that you might be interested in sharing/experiencing/living this kind of life for a while to see if it works for you keep in mind, it’s not necessarily a lifetime commitment. I'm not wonderful, and you don't have to be either.
