A little about me...
my children, their children, my profession and my dog all afford me to feel quite blessed. i am quite happy living a quiet ,yet busy and full, existence with as little concocted drama as is possible in today's rather complex world. i love working in the yard with gardening and bullwork being equally satisfying. i also enjoy reading and cooking and staying on top of what is happening in this upside down ( at times ! ) life. walking my dog everyday on the beach makes me profoundly happy as do most of the other more ordinary features of the day. however, traveling can also be a lot of fun and i have been extremely lucky to have spent time in the more remote corners of the world and plan to continue to punctuate my time on this earth with further adventures. i consider myself very fortunate to have my health, and, so far, much energy and would enjoy meeting someone with similar interests.

About the one I'm looking for...
sense of humor, kindness, confidence, good impulse control and no hassles about being a companion to a spirited and very independent woman.i am the least inclined to get along with an insensitive, thoughtless, controlling person who has a stake around "being right" as opposed to managing an intimate connection with grace and humor. emotional intelligence is much more valuable to me than most anything else.

I'd just like to add...
others who know me well see me as open, flexible and tolerant. i detest conflict and want nothing to do with manufactured drama. that means knowing how to be trustworthy and honorable. that about covers it!!!
