A little about me...
My photo, taken Spring 2012 sitting in my own backyard, does NOT do justice to my towering height of 4'10". Though not able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, I'm a spirited and energetic lady with a quick smile, an offbeat sense of humor, and love conversation and the exchange of ideas, sometimes with people I don't know...yet. I sing in the car, dance in the living room and enjoy a hot game of Scrabble, an engrossing novel, and gossiping with my buddies at the gym. I appreciate the great outdoors and like to hike. I value time spent with friends and nurture my relationships with my 2 adult children who live on opposite coasts. I volunteer my time at the food bank and NPR Sun Sounds of Az. Since retiring from a career in social work, I've traveled to several countries and plan to take another trip this fall. I like browsing in bookstores, the theater...especially musicals and quirky movies. If any or all of this resonates, and you're so inclined...I'd like to hear from you.

I'm the daughter of two Eastern European musicians, raised in a cramped Brooklyn, N.Y. apartment. Mention of 1930's Big Band songs, old RandB, and Soul prompt me to the spontaneous humming of obscure lyrics. I've lived In Phoenix since 1971 but somehow, I'm a New Yorker in my heart.....
