A little about me...
I'm a Single Father to a wonderful 15 y.o. Son. I've been divorced for almost 10 years and his mother and I put all of our "stuff" off to the side when we divorced in order to raise this fine young man.
I retired, after a very successful career in Hi-Tech in order to raise my son.

I like to pride myself on kindness towards everyone. I am not a man that simply digests everything that is shown to him on a TV news program. In fact, the only news I digest is Democracy Now, and am someone that can think for himself.
While I am quite liberal in my veiwpoints, I welcome and respect all views for intelligent conversation.
Public Service is very important to me. My dog and I work as a Therapy team for Children with special needs and our elderly.
While I live in a very wealthy part of Monmouth Cty, I am not myself wealthy, I live on a fixed income and have chosen to do that and the benefits are wonderful.

I have no tolerance for Racism or prejudice nor wish to be with anyone that is.
My views of Religion are that I respect all as I feel they bring comfort to a person so how can that be a bad thing.

About the one I'm looking for...
I don't date much by choice. But now that my son is 15 I find myself with quite a bit of time on their hands and it would be nice to meet a woman that knows the meaning of unconditional friendship and partnership.
My friend should care about her health and body and I'm sorry, I'm not attracted to overweight women. They are indeed no different then any others, but it's not my cup of tea.
My friend should be full of compassion, enjoy intelligent conversations, active and not material at all. If you are looking for cruises, fancy dinners every night or a lot of travel, while you are entitled to have all of these, it's just not me.
I would enjoy an intelligent woman that understands how America works today, whom understands how almost everything we touch is corporate owned even the food. Being angry about such things are not healthy but understanding them and having intelligent discussion is important to me.

I'd just like to add...
Unconditional Friendship and the understanding of complete partnership is very important to me. That being "said" a relationship is never 50/50. Sometimes is 40/60 etc., as one person can always be there for their friend when needed.
