A little about me...
A little about me...why is this difficult? I have lived in Phoenix since 1957. I have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren. I was widowed 3 years ago after 38 years of marriage and have decided that I now have the opportunity to re-invent myself. I retired 2 years ago after working for local government as a trainer and policy specialist for 20 years.

I am actively involved as a volunteer with a non-profit, and also make hats for oncology patients for a different one.

I like to travel, especially out of the way places. I recently took some painting classes and my dream is to travel around the USA and paint this diverse country in which we live.

I am easy going, and slow to anger. I love to laugh, and have a dry sense of humor.

I read alot, in fact I'm rather compulsive about it. I will read almost anything but prefer a good mystery.

I love the outdoors and to be around bodies of water (lake, river, creek, ocean..it doesn't matter), but not necessarily in it.

About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for someone with whom to share the future. To spend time together; it does not have to be anything fancy, a movie, a walk, watching TV, or just in conversation.

I am tired of dinner for one, and the company of pets - they can be fun, but are lacking in conversation topics and social graces. LOL
