A little about me...
Hello my name is Jim and I'm putting myself up for adoption in hopes of finding my "special someone" and having some romance in my life.
Although I'm currently a State Highway Patrol Officer with more than 40 years of service, I still have a keen sense of humor and a kind heart. Leading an active lifestyle with lots of exercise has helped keep me healthy and physically fit. (Last time I ate a doughnut was in 1987)
A few of my favorite activities are dayhiking , bicycling, backcountry roadtrips, watching nearly all kinds of movies at home or in theaters, or just relaxing with a good book. Being a bookworm has kept me generally well informed on current events as well as historical data, and over the years I've become sort of an amateur historian. Going out dining and dancing is always fun with a good date, but I really don't dig the bar scene; especially if I'm alone.
Most women around my age have grandchildren they're close to, and that wouldn't present any problems for me. For a good relationship with the woman I love, and her family, I would be willing to attend many ballgames, school plays, and scouting events etc. Always willing to try new things and be a good participant in cheerful and wholesome family o
