A little about me...
About my photos: as you can see, I frequently change my hair color and style, depending on my mood (and or season) They are all pics of the same old me.I am a registered critical care nurse. I was widowed 2 years ago. I moved from Chicago to Maine to live near my daughter. I found a little piece of heaven on a lake in the country. Although I love being near family, I feel there is something missing in my life. I am ready to put myself out there in hopes of finding a special someone to spend time with. I am a Christian, and my faith is a very real part of my life. I also love to travel,to visit and explore new places, love to be near the ocean, or better yet on the ocean,on a lake or even a river.(in a sailboat or power boat, even a runabout) Just love water. I have spent a great deal of time in Mexico and enjoy mingling with the local folks. Any questions?

About the one I'm looking for...
I am looking for someone who loves life, who likes to laugh and have fun. I am active and outdoorsy, but still enjoy dressing up and dining out. I dont care for loud, bossy, push types. I do like a real man, but one who can be kind, gentle and romantic. I had the perfect mate and I am not trying to replace him, but someone with his qualities could win my heart.

I'd just like to add...
Living on a lake lends itself to outdoor activities such as fishing, boating and swimming. When the snow is flying, I am happy to build a fire and cozy up to the TV with a good flick, and a cup of hot chocolate. I love animals, especially cats. I feed all the birds, deer, racoons and any other creature that needs a hand out. I garden, and grow some lovely flowers. I am a nurse and continue to work in the emergency room, because I like people too. I am also an American Red Cross Disaster relief nurse and spent a great deal of time helping with rescue operations, caring for the wounded, managing and setting up shelters, driving a truck and delivering MRE's and water to the hungry,Sleeping in tents, church basements, during and after Hurricaine Katrina throughout the gulf states. I've learned just how fragile life is and needs to be handled with care and compassion. Reaching out to others in time of crisis and need is one of my passions.
