Genuine & candid, serious and lighthearted. I enjoy a quirky sense of humor and observing subtleties of human beings. I'm flexible and love thoughtful ideas on many things. Jon Stuart and Bill Mar are wonderful. I'm a reserved in public, and more comfortable in a quiet setting. Raised in Kailua, I love the island ways, tastes and music. Having spent time on both the east and west coast, and some travel outside outside the US I enjoy and can relate to various cultures.

About the one I'm looking for...
I'm looking for a man who is direct, genuine and introspective. One who enjoys exchanging ideas, thoughts and is open minded. One who enjoys learning about a variety of interests. From carpenters, to gardeners to computer & science types are all interesting to me.
I want not someone who is like me, but who balances me. Most of all I want a companion who's easy to be communicative and quiet with.

I'd just like to add...
I enjoy spending time alone, but would like to add a special person or friend to enjoy some mutual sharing. I have a Mac computer which I enjoy immensely, so takes some time that I enjoy. I am mostly retired but still write some.
