A little about me...
I am a retired teacher and now work part time for a local college supervising student teachers. I taught elementary school for many years, but my last 10 years of teaching were in high school Spanish. I have traveled all over the world, but I'd like to visit places in the US now.

I have a lot of interests: reading, going out to eat, playing bridge, travel, collecting, watching movies, going to plays and surfing the net. I especially like to try new things. Being a life-long learner is important to me. I would like to have long talks with someone or go on a walk with my dog. I can appreciate nature and all of it's beauty. You'll find me listening to many different kinds of music. I love to cook and would like to cook an occasional dinner for someone who'd like to share a meal with me.

About the one I'm looking for...
I'm looking for someone to go out, chat and share common interests. The person I'd like to meet must be honest, caring and considerate. I would like someone who is intelligent and can carry on a good conversation. Humor is a plus!

Social drinking is OK, but I don't drink. I can't be with anyone who smokes. Right now I'd like friendship more than anything, but I'm open to a serious relationship if something develops.

I graduated from the University of Nebraska and I have season tickets. GO BIG RED! I love college football. Nebraska City is not that far from Omaha and Lincoln, and I don't mind driving to meet someone for activities.
