A little about me...
After quite some time on another dating service, I have learned a thing or two about dating, and also about myself. I’m in a pretty tiny minority of people (apparently) who do not always see the glass half full and do not live for high adventure. I have learned that, by common standards, I’m even more unconventional and smarter than I thought I was. I'm not willing to settle for someone who is merely “nice”—in fact, I’m not even impressed by “nice,” (I hope you understand what I mean. Nice should be a given). I think it’s everyone’s default setting. You’ll need to come up with a whole string of more meaningful adjectives if you want my attention. I realize that sounds more like gate-keeping than a sales pitch, but that’s the risk I’m willing to take. I'm looking for an intellectual, emotional, and physical partner who isn't threatened by the other commitments in my life; a connection that both includes and transcends "common ground," and crackles with sexual energy.
