A little about me...
Horses are my passion! Whether it's being outside working them or caring for them daily, or loading up and heading for a weekend in the mountains, they're what my life is about! Nothing compares to the exhilaration I feel when riding up a rugged mountain trail... unless it's packing miles into the wilderness and spending a week in an alpine meadow with the sounds of a roaring creek just outside the tent. Mmmm... cowboy coffee and breakfast cooked over the campfire with the sun rising over the pine trees and the horses peacefully grazing in knee-deep grass... it just doesn't get any better than that!
In case you haven't gathered it yet, I'm a pretty simple, straight forward kind of guy... you know, the whole "code of the west" thing... when a person's word still meant something... and folks still said "howdy" to their neighbors...
I usually kick around in boots and jeans and a cowboy hat. But, I clean up pretty good too! I actually own a suit (or two)... I've even attended functions OTHER than the rodeo! I enjoy classical music concerts and, of course, country and western concerts, and theater (depending on the play), just haven't quite been able to drag myself to an opera... dunno, I might be trainable on that one...

About the one I'm looking for...
First and foremost, I'm looking for a friend. I'd like to text and talk for a while before actually meeting... you know, actually getting to know one another? I believe that a meaningful relationship, by necessity, is based on mutual trust, mutual respect, shared interests (while reserving some time for individual interests), and "chemistry". How does one know if any of that exists when rushing, headlong, into a "physical relationship"??
I have some definite plans for the rest of my life, and I'm in hot pursuit! As I mentioned, I'm a very active person... I'm usually always doing something. I'm not afraid of hard work, or of getting my hands dirty. I'd like to think I could find someone to work hard (and play hard) by my side... hopefully, someone who shares my love of being outdoors and of nature.
Guess I've always had a weakness for a pretty girl driving a big ol' four wheel drive truck... pulling a horse trailer! If that's you, please send picture... of the truck and trailer... hehehe... (just kidding!!)
Ideally, the person I'm looking for is horse crazy, too! Or, could at least tolerate my habit! My horses aren't going anywhere... they're part of the "package deal"! LOL!!

I'd just like to add...
Ultimately, I'm looking for someone to walk with me, hand in hand, through life. Someone who isn't afraid of hard work. Someone who knows how to set (and achieve) goals. Someone who knows how (and when) to play. I'm looking for someone to be my friend and confidant. I'm looking for someone to share my dreams and aspirations. (more on that later!)
