A little about me...
Every day when I get up, I first thank my Heavenly Father for a new day and ask that I might be able to make it a great one in doing what is right and enjoying it to the fullest regardless if I am working, relaxing, spending it with family, or serving others. I have had a few hard knocks in life that have shown me how to be compassionate, understanding, and non judgemental. I try to learn from each challenge that I go through, and have found that I get through them more easily if I allow the Savior to share my yoke. I love to laugh and have a dry sense of humor. I am very spontaneous and often sleep deprived as I don't want to miss out on anything and often drop what I am doing for an impromptu hike or movie with friends. I am not a TV watcher as I would rather experience life than watch it, although I do enjoy snuggling up in a blanet to watch a movie, but beware that I am territorial with my popcorn! I am very young at heart and it is important to me to be physically fit so that I will be able to enjoy a long healthy life. I have a lot of love and energy to share and would love to meet some new friends and possibly a companion that enjoys life as much as I do :-)

About the one I'm looking for...
The gospel is very important in my life and my callings are a top priority. I love children and my favorite calling was as Cub Master as I enjoyed the rowdiness of it and our meetings were always a noisy blast. I enjoy singing in the ward and other choirs and being generally involved. I am so grateful for the Atonement of the Savior that is manifest in my life on a daily basis. When I was going through the dark times in my life, I recognized Angels in the form of family and friends that the Lord sent to me to comfort and lift me up and I have learned how to serve and succor others in return. I love doing temple work but don't really consider it service to others as I find that I benefit so much from feeling the peace that comes when I'm able to get away from the world for a short time. I performed in the Easter Pageant for the last 2 years and experienced many spiritual moments in addition to receiving help with healing from a major loss in my life. I remember on a daily basis that I am not a human being going through a spiritual experience, but rather a spiritual being going through human experience and that I am here on earth to be tested and tried and go through the refiner's fire. I plan on passing with flying colors!!

I'd just like to add...
Life is fun! Whether I'm at work, at church, with family, in the temple, or on a hike, I try to make it fun and enjoy it to the fullest. President Hinckley said not just to"endure to the end, but to ENJOY to the end". Life is what you make it and although I've been trying to make lemonade out of the lemons life has given me, I'm still looking for the sugar! It's still a little sour sometimes, but that's okay :-) That's what makes life interesting! I enjoy hiking, biking, cooking and baking, doing yard and pool work on an average day. I enjoy reading but lately have not had too much time for it. I love amusement parks, especially roller coasters ~ the scarier the better! I love going on day trips to explore hiking trails and water holes. Cliff jumping is fun, but watch out for the "Toilet Bowl" at Fossil Springs! My life did flash before my eyes for a minute! I enjoy dancing and would love to take lessons with someone. I do have a growing bucket list that I would love to share with someone special that loves life to the fullest and recognizes the blessings that come from our Heavenly Father.
